The Wize Way · our philosophy for firm owners

A method for building a firm that

The Wize Way is the philosophy and the loop we walked ourselves - Discover, Plan, Execute, Measure - refined across two firms and thousands of firm owners. It's how a firm stops depending on you and starts running as a real business.

Our philosophy

We built firms before we ever coached one.

The Wize Way didn't come out of a textbook. It came out of two accounting firms we ran ourselves - through the long hours, the wrong hires, the pricing mistakes, and the years when the business owned us instead of the other way around.

Somewhere along the way, we stopped treating the firm like a job we'd bought and started treating it like a business we were building. Roles got clearer. Systems carried the load. The team grew up. And the firm kept running whether we were in the office or not.

That shift is what changed our lifestyle - more time with family, more choice about how we spend a week, more freedom to work on what actually matters. The Wize Way is the path we walked, written down so you don't have to figure it out alone.

The Wize Model

Stop running a firm. Start owning a business.

Most firms flatline. Revenue grinds up a little, hours grind up a lot, and the owner stays stuck at the centre of everything. More clients just means more pressure, not more freedom.

The Wize Model breaks that pattern. Clear roles, strong systems, and a team that carries real weight - so the firm keeps growing without you having to work harder to hold it up.

The Wize Way in motion

A loop, not a checklist.

Discover, Plan, Execute, Measure - and back to Discover. The firms that get free are the ones that keep the loop turning.

Get honest about where the firm really stands today - the numbers, the bottlenecks, the roles, the client base. You can't fix what you haven't named.

More time. More money. More freedom.
